Status of Women

Who We Are

The Status of Women Committee advocates for all women and women- identified members of OSSTF by providing support and education on local, provincial and global issues affecting women. Promotes women to be leaders, mentors and role models who strive towards making our work environment inclusive, safe, and equitable.

The Status of Women Award

The Status of Women Award is sponsored by the Provincial Status of Women Committee and is presented annually at AMPA. The award recognizes exemplary effort and service by a member in the areas of promotion, advocacy and leadership regarding women's issues/gender equity within the workplace, OSSTF/FEESO and the larger community.
